In order to provide qualified and motivated seafarers it maintains its own crewing officers in eight different place in china .It also recognizes that training is an essential factor to ensure that a pool of qualified crew is maintained and prepared for future demands. Haidahang has allocated resources not only to train cadets as future officers but also provides training to its present sea going staff through external and in-house training centers.

It has presently around 600 seafarers of different rank on board with another 200 seafarers on leave. A further 200 cadets join its training program every year to be prepared for their future role as officers.
